He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gamel and Naomi Gamel; and his sister Helen (Teresa Roebuck Gamel). He is survived by: his wife Elois Gamel of Collinsville; his children, Mike Gamel (Sherri) of Oklahoma City, Nancy Livecy (David) of Mustang, OK, Cindy Gipson (Garland) of Oklahoma City, James R. Gamel, Jr. (Wendy) of Collierville, TN and Scott Campbell (Jennifer) of Collierville, TN.; his stepchildren, Tracy Kilpatrick (Reed) of Union, Jill Warren and Dusty of Union; and his brother Benjamin Gerald Gamel (Linda) of Boaz. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
