He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Defay Poole; his stepfather Hollie Reynolds; his brother Tony Poole; his brother-in-law Bill Huey; and his father-in-law Aaron Scarborough, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Diane Poole; his daughters, Brandi Watson (Aaron) and Belinda Hoffer (Kurt); his grandchildren, Katlyn Hoffer, Taylor Hoffer, Haley Watson, Walker Hoffer, Jake Watson and Jeremiah Watson; and his great grandchildren, Caroline Carney and Maci Hoffer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be shared with the Wounded Warrior Project or Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital.
