He was predeceased by: his wife Sandy Sharp Metrolis; his sister Norma Metrolis Phyllis Pettijon; his children, Dennis Metrolis of Memphis, Debbie Metrolis of Tupelo, Chuck Metrolis of Pecos, Elizabeth Lemming (Stephen) of Stugardt, Germany Higgins and Denise Higgins (Donald) of Tracy Sity, Tenn.; and his brothers, Albert Metrolis and Bill Metrolis.
