He was predeceased by: his wife Georgia Elizabeth Nicholson Lane; his father Troy Galloway Lane; his son Willie George Lane, Jr.; and his brother Alfred Decell Lane. He is survived by: his children, Robert "Randy" Lane Sr. (Vicki) of Hattiesburg and Linda Lane Dilgard (Barry) of Maryville, Tennessee; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Gainer of Dallas, Texas; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Domingos (Doug), Rob Lane, Jr. (Maribel), Hilary Paine (Patrick), Michelle Klebba (Martin), Kylie Carpri (Vincent) and Sara Best (Jeffrey). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
