It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley McDonald Mayfield of Collins, Mississippi, who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack McDonald and Minnie Lee McDonald; her husband Joe Mayfield; and her brothers, Milton Ray McDonald, James W. McDonald and Harold McDonald.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe Darrell Mayfield (Gail) of Collins, Ronnie Mayfield (Retha) of Crystal Springs, Barry Mayfield (Rita Gayle) of Collins and Kirby Mayfield (Rachel Britt) of Collins. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
