It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Kirkley of Collins, Mississippi, born in Golden Meadow, Louisiana, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilton Besson and Irene Chighizola Besson; her husband Kenneth Kirkley; her son Robert Keath Kirkley; and her siblings, Ralph Beeson Ted Besson, Jerry Besson, Judy Besson and Wendy Besson Chouest.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Kirkley (Myra), Rachel Kirkley (Jeremy) and Beverly Kirkley Arant (Mike); her siblings, Danny Besson, Wallace Besson, Linsey Besson and Tammy Besson Moran; her grandsons, Trevor Kirkley (Kasey) and Kyle Arant; and her great grandchildren, Reagan, Kasen and Rilyn Kirkley.
