He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hammerman and Nina Mae Pond Hammerman; his wife Gwen Hammerman; his daughter Frances Pelletier; and his brother Chet Hammerman.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Johnny Hodge, Sheila Robbins, Stephanie Carter, Stacy Gutierraz, James Pelletier and Rick VanNorman. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (519 Rock Hill Rd, Mt Olive, MS 39119).
