She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Carl Sterling; her parents, James Edmond Grantham and Mary Corzella Bounds Grantham; and her siblings, James Ellison Grantham, Nathan Grantham, Viola Grantham Hennis and Linda Grantham Lott.

She is survived by: her mother-in-law Christine Sterling; her sons, Shane Robin Sterling of Petal, Carlos Michael Sterling of Petal and Patrick Neal Sterling of Petal; and her brothers, Roy Grantham of Sumrall and Kent Allen Grantham of Sumrall. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
