We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2022, at the age of 89, Louise Boyd of Collins, Mississippi, born in Bay Springs, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband J. C. "Jimmy" Boyd; her daughter Charlotte Louise Sykes; her parents, John McClain and Hattie Scott McClain; her siblings, Arnold McClain, Delma McClain, Houston McClain, Faye Phillips and Beatrice Hicks; her grandson Stephen Walters; and her great grandchild Justice Graham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Kelley (Sam) and Shirley Walters (Paul); her stepdaughters, Sherry Grant (Shane), Debbie Brooks (Bobby) and Connie Stovall (John); her grandchildren, Stephanie Ingle, Lindsey Bonner (Billy), Lacey Dickerson (Steve), Shane Scarbrough (Julie), Christa Graham, Jay Brooks (Lori) and Josh Sanford; and her sister Thelma Lewis. She is also survived by grandchildren, 3- great great grandchildren.
She made quilts for everyone she loved and cared for and donated many for charities.
