He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dennis Banister and Geraldine Elizabeth Clark Banister; his wife Barbara Banister; his son Zane Banister; and his brother Tommy Banister.
He is survived by: his son Teague Banister of Collins; his grandchildren, Ethan and Emma Banister of Seminary; and his siblings, Mary Sue Kuykendall (Bill) of Artesia, NM and Ken Banister (Judy) of Torrington, WY. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
