With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Edward Taylor of Collins, Mississippi, born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on November 20, 2022 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott James Taylor and Margie Lee Craft Taylor; his brothers, Berlon "Shoot" Taylor and Scott Taylor; and his sister-in-law Judy Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Gaye Johnson Taylor of Collins, Mississippi; his daughters, Nikki Jones (Billy) of Seminary, Mississippi and Stefani Taylor (Robert Talley) of Seminary, Mississippi; his sister Mary Ellis Chappell of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Dustin Taylor, Brooklyn Talley, Brandon Harp, Monica Jones Grant (Lake), Blaten Jones (Kalyn), Conner Harrell (Courtney) and Addisen Jones; and his great grandchildren, Harper Taylor, Braylen Grant, Cooper Harrell, Caysen Harrell and Lakelynn Grant. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
