He is survived by: his wife Dolores Triche Jacob; his children, Darlene Jacob Sizemore (James), James Jacob Jr., Kathy Jacob Hewitt (Rick), Claudette Jacob Canon (Mark) and Shawn Joseph Jacob (Donna); and his siblings, Audrey Jacob Lewis, Gerald Jacob and Frances "Iola" Jacob Greene. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
