He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Bucklew and Millie Coulter Bucklew; and his siblings, Robert Harold Bucklew, Iris Bucklew Thornton (Wallace), Erma Jean Bucklew Faler (Henry), Bernice Bucklew Yates (Millard) and Colleen Bucklew McDonald (Billy).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jo McQueen Bucklew of Collins; his children, Gerald Dent Bucklew, Jr. (Ginger) of Louisville and Rebecca Jo Bucklew Arnold (Roy) of Collins; his sister Janis Bucklew James of Hattiesburg; his grandchildren, Ryan Lee Arnold of Ocoee, JoAnna Arnold Adcock (Daniel) of Diamondhead, Reagan Gerald Arnold of Collins, Channing Flynt Bucklew (Hannah) of Brandon, Alexander Cole Bucklew (Devan) of Madison and Anna Claire Bucklew of Louisville; and his great grandchildren, Vivianna Adcock, Mila Bucklew and Ian Adcock. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
