He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Wilson Lott and Nellie Lou Sanford Lott; and his siblings-in-law, Felton Aultman, Wayne Hosey, Bobbie Gail Hosey Stroud and Mary Katherine "Kat" Hosey Raby.
He is survived by: his wife Mae Nell Hosey Lott of Collins; his sons, Timothy Don Lott (Missy) of Seminary and Bucky Edward Lott (Shelby) of Sumrall; his siblings, Leon Lott of Collins, Exel Lott (Linda) of Seminary and Eva Doris Lott Aultman of Seminary; his grandchildren, Edward Layton Lott, Wilson Don Lott (Emma), Easton Edward Lott, Maddox Cole Lott, Liam Lott and Erin Lott; and his great grandchildren, Sutton Edward Lott, Sawyer Brooks Lott and Nolan Rhett Lott. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
