He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Alton Mooney and Dorothy Lee Mooney. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Vicki Magee Mooney; his sons, Bobby Wayne Mooney (Vicki) of Collins and Billy Mack Mooney (Lisa) of Collins; the mother of his children Nancy Woods of Collins; his grandchildren, Lorie, Blake, Lindsey, Jake, Gabby, Jeff, Brooklyn, Kaylee and Colton; his great grandchildren, Bella, Ledger, Holden and Hank; and his brothers, Paul Mooney of Collins, Don Mooney (Kathy) of Collins and Mike Mooney (Judy) of Brandon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Jacob's Well Ministries, 45 Buford Lane, Poplarville, Mississippi, 39470 or Voice of Hope Ministries, 410 Magnolia Drive, Raleigh, Mississippi, 39153.
