He was predeceased by: his wives, Judy Deanne Shearer and Jacque Hall Shearer; and his parents, Ray Shearer and Lexa Shearer. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Shearer and Matt Fletcher; and his brothers, Bob Shearer and Ron Shearer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (9290 MS-306, Coldwater, MS 38618).
