Mary Jo Brewer Obituary

Mary Jo Brewer, 71, of Coldwater, MS went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 22, 2022. The family will not be having a funeral service, but will have a memorial get together in her honor at a later date.

Mary Jo was born on June 26, 1950, in Memphis, TN to Joseph and Mary Laster. She later married Don Brewer on February 2, 1968. Although she never worked, she had the most rewarding job of all as a wonderful Mother to their two sons, Richard and Paul. Once they were raised, she thoroughly enjoyed having a hand in raising and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an amazing wife, mother, and Grannie.

Mary Jo very much loved the lord. Trips to the Smokies with Don was a favorite of hers also. She loved her flowers and the gardens they would plant each spring. She also enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the hummingbirds.

She was such a sweet, kindhearted, and soft-spoken person. To know her was to love her. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Mary Jo is survived by her husband, Don Brewer of Coldwater, MS; sons, Richard Brewer (Kimberly) of Coldwater, MS, Paul Brewer (Mary Jane) of Brighton, TN; grandchildren Savannah (Dean), Matthew (Brittany), Anna, Seirra, and Hallie; multiple great grandchildren; sisters Martha S Lee and Cheryl Bair; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Laster.
