She was predeceased by: her former husband William David "Bill" Smith; her parents, Louis Thomas Stevens and Haywood Delia Stevens; and her brother Tommy Stevens. She is survived by: her siblings, Nell Tarver of Macon, GA and Kenny Stevens of Coldwater, MS; and her grandchildren, Paisley Juliet Smith, Devin Delia Smith, William David and Tri.

Donations will be used for advancing vital research toward methods of treatment, prevention, and ultimately a cure.
