He is survived by: his wife Edith Shirley Floate of Coldwater, MS; his children, Dr. Jerry Wayne Floate II (Tonya) of Hernando, MS, Walter Littlejohn (Michelle) of Senatobia, MS, Alysia Coleman of Coldwater, MS and Felicia Brownlee (Kim) of Senatobia, MS; his siblings, Joyce English of Independence, MS, Earnestine Edlin of Senatobia, MS, Dorothy Smith (Ramond) of Wyatte, MS, Sarah Lee of Olive Branch, MS, Aubrey "Bud" Floate (Maxine) of Wyatte, MS and Allen Floate (Linda) of Olive Branch, MS; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Harris (Brian), Ayranne Floate, Sarah Floate, Devon Brownlee, Isabella Brownlee, Bailey Coleman, Gage Coleman, Luke Coleman, Blane Littlejohn, Joshua Knight, Caleb Knight, Audrea Burrow and Kimberly Woodard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
