He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Phillips and Wilodyne Phillips; his stepson Joe Higginbotham; and his brother Jimmy Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Vaughn Phillips; his children, Nickie Harrison (Brock) of Brandon and Robert "Timmy" Phillips (Faye) of Vaiden, MS; his stepchildren, Stephanie Wiggins of Mobile, AL and Allen Higginbotham (Amy) of Greenwood, MS; his sister Beverly Watts (Ernie) of Black Hawk; and his grandchildren, Mason Phillips, Matthew, Tannah, JoJo Higginbotham, Anthony Williams, Chris McNeer, Brittany Williams and Mikki Kitchens. He is also survived by 13 Great-Grandchildren.
