We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2024, at the age of 92, Walter Rose Sr. of Coffeeville, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Walter is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Walter's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Rose and Mary Gabrouel Rose; and his brothers, Richard Rose, Edward Rose and Mitchell Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Ralston Rose of Coffeeville, MS; his children, Walter Rose, Jr. of Randolph, MS, Radford Rose of New Orleans, LA, Michael Rose of Saltillo, MS, Edward Rose (Patricia) of Blue Springs, MS, Daphney Howell of Ultia and Theresa Sossaman (Terry) of New Albany, MS; and his sister Mary Mancil of Mobile, AL. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
