He is survived by: his wife Faye McCalop Blakely; his son George Blakely, Jr. of Grenada; his grandchildren, Kurt Blakely of Grenada and Kayla Franklin (Kyle) of Grenada; his great grandchild Kimber Franklin of Grenada; his sister Minnie McMinn (Bill) of Coffeeville; and his sisters-in-law, Joan McDaniel and Glenda Sides. He is also survived by his family and friends.
