It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Longest Brooks of Clinton, Mississippi, who passed away on October 29, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harbert Beckham and Lucille Hatten Longest; her husband Fred L. Brooks, Jr.; and her brother Drs. She is survived by: her niece Judy Longest Bethea; her children, Rick Brooks (Lynn) of Ocean Springs and Rebecca Brooks Prewitt of Clinton; her grandchildren, Matthew Prewitt (Ashley) of Clinton, Catherine Brooks of Southaven, Shane Prewitt of Chicago, IL and John Wesley Brooks of Ocean Springs; her great grandchildren, Job and Rachael Kate Prewitt of Clinton; and her nieces, Peggy Bates (Charles) of Starkville, Betsy Longest of Starkville, Sally Laughlin of Starkville and Chris Corhern (Steve) of Starkville. She is also survived by many cousins, great-nieces and nephews.
