It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Powell D Mahaffey (Clinton, Mississippi), born in Harrisville, Mississippi, who passed away on May 4, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Virginia Mahaffey; his parents, Ance Mahaffey and Jean Matthews Mahaffey; his son Powell Jr.; his siblings, Aubrey Mahaffey, Alton Mahaffey, Bob Mahaffey, Ruth Stark, Clayton Faubion and Merle Lee Miller; his grandson Gabe Mahaffey; and also Mahaffey, Jr..

He is survived by: his brother Mahaffey Quality Printing; his wife Patricia Mahaffey of Clinton; his children, Art Mahaffey of Flora and Barbara Ashcraft (Wayne) of Raymond; his stepchildren, Chris Williams of Jackson, Patrick Williams (Celeta) of Pearl, Stella Thompson of Clinton and Erin Mahaffey (Bronson) of Flora; his grandchildren, Robert Mahaffey, Bronson Mahaffey, Luke Bell and Trudy Bell; and his stepgrandchildren, Victoria, Samantha, Jesse Williams, McKayla Thompson, Elizabeth Thompson and Ava Rose Mahaffey. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
