She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Horton and Alice McDavid Horton. She is survived by: her husband Matthew Thornberry; her children, Ramona Abraham, Richard Abraham and Christopher Massey; and her siblings, Laura Horton and George Horton. She is also survived by three nieces; and four puppy dogs.
