It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lynn Powell of Clinton, Mississippi, born in Collins, Mississippi, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Alice and Ray Scott Turnage; and her brothers, Danny, Dave and Sammy.
She is survived by: her husband Derris Powell; her sons, Jeremy Smith (Alexis Keith Stewart), Justin Powell (Amanda Perez) and Jarrod Powell (Ashley); her sisters, Rachel Guillory and Clara Faye Hutchison (Butch); and her grandchildren, Ethan, Julia Powell, Raka, Rafa Smith, Aubrey and Carson Powell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
