We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2021, at the age of 73, Margie May Smith Lassetter of Clinton, Mississippi, born in Hazlehurst, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Armstrong and Lilliam Armstrong; her former husband E. H. Smith, Jr.; her husband Keith Lassetter; and her brothers, Johnny and Jackie Armstrong.

She is survived by: her son Elan Hollis Smith, III; and her siblings, Benson Armstrong, Nellie Noble, Jeannie May and Vickie White. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
