It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Carolyn Burnside (Clinton, Mississippi), born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Alvis B. McNeill; her husband William Luther "Billy" Burnside; her children, Mary Burnside, Candie Burnside Armstrong, Donna Burnside Gallagher and David Burnside; and her siblings, Gloria McNeill Whyte, Alvis B. McNeill Jr., Harold McNeill and Reverend Melton McNeill.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Barry Burnside (Kerri) of Clinton, MS; her grandchildren, Darleen Vessell of Byram, MS, Andy Armstrong, Jason Armstrong of Richland, MS, Mallory Burnside, Riley Burnside and Hudson Burnside of Clinton, MS; and her great grandchildren, Baylie Runnels (Drake) of Pearl, MS, Paige Vessell of Byram, MS and Zachary Vessell of Byram, MS. She is also survived by many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland, MS.
