He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Arthur Fields and Sylvia J. Fields (Peavler); and his siblings, Jimmy Fields, Billy Fields and Ada Ivy.
He is survived by: his brother Paul; his daughters, Pam Thomason (Mark) of Clinton, MS and Paula Crowe (Bob) of Clinton, MS; his grandchildren, Alan Thomason (Meredith), Ashley Byrd (Jeremy), Nicholas Crowe, Noah Crowe and Nils Crowe; and his great grandchildren, Tripp Thomason, Reese Thomason, Keegan Byrd and Ollie Byrd.
