It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Justin Lewis Scott Umphries of Clinton, Mississippi, born in Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on May 9, 2022, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jeromie Smith; and his grandparents, Alyce Patterson, Clyde Umphries, Josephine Guess and James Ashburn.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Umphries; his granddaughter Sophia Smith; his mother Marta Hylman; his siblings, Travis Umphries and Amber Williams; his brother-in-law Frank Ramirez (Lupita); his nieces and nephews, Tristen Carrithers, Gaige Umphries, Ambree Umphries, Hailey Umphries, Aryan Umphries, Katie-Lee Williams, Jesse-Lee Williams, Jr. and Robert-Lee Williams; and his pet Marley. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Lakewood Funeral Home to go towards Justin's funeral expenses.
