She was predeceased by: her husband Ed Carpenter; and her parents, Cabe Lambert and Matiel Lambert of Jayess, MS. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Torres; her great grandchildren, Glenn Torres (Kristy), Graham Torres (Darrah) and Griffin Torres; and her sister Carolyn Bruce (Don). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
