He is survived by: his daughter Anna Riley Ruffin; his brother Thomas R. Ruffin (Stacey); his nieces and nephews, Nicky Ruffin, Amie Hess (Matthew), Shelby, Charlotte, Della Claire, Brady, Peyton and Mitchell; his sister Kristi Sellers (Bob); and his niece Kelsey McDonald (Adam).
