He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; his parents, Rex Engle and Nora Engle; his siblings, Bert Nienast, Helen Rankin, Judy Cook, Wilene Overstreet, Oswalt Engle and Wallace Killibrew; and his great grandchild Hunter Jordan.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Engle (Jenny), Pam Engle and Stephanie Bourgeois (Raleigh); his stepson Zane Pucylowski; his grandchildren, Chelbie Engle, Brady Cerniglia, Victoria Cerniglia, Blake Mullings, Braxton Mullings, Walker Pucylowski, Jonathan Pucylowski, Melissa Walters and Marcy Jordan; and his sister Annette Knue. He is also survived by his wife "JuJu", his children and his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Diabetes Association in Memory of Johnny L. Engle.
