John Joseph Woods Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2025, at the age of 74, John Joseph Woods of Clinton, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John Joseph has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Woods and Novle Woods; his wife Pamela Woods of Clinton, MS; his daughters, Allison Salisbury of Nashville, TN and Hannah Woods of Clinton, MS; and his brother Kenneth Woods of Olympia, WA..

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lakewood Funeral Home (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
