He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wesley Switzer and May Bell Evans Switzer; and his siblings, Jack, Julia Hearn and Merle Switzer.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Siddon Switzer; his daughter Shelia Switzer Beckwith (Ed) of Belzoni; his brother Wesley Switzer of Clinton; and his grandchildren, John Carl Beckwith (Molly) of Pearl, Chris Beckwith (Jessica) of Louise and Crystal Grey of Belzoni.
