He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Lee Ball and Mittie Frances Ball; his siblings, David Ball, Myrtle Nations (Robert) and Doris Marie Thigpen (Ed); and his niece Debbie Driscoll.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Ball; his son Jason Davis Ball of London; his grandchildren, Anna and Sebastian; his daughter-in-law Maria Jose Monto of London; and his sister-in-law Mildred Ball. He is also survived by 3 nephews and 5 nieces.
