With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette Stanley Garrett of Clinton, Mississippi, who passed away on January 3, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Lesley Garrett, Sr.; her parents, William White Stanley and Bertha Smith Stanley; and her siblings, John Kendrick, William Lucien, Clarence Ray, Dennis Graves and Verna Mae.

She is survived by: her children, James Lesley Garrett, Jr., William Jackson Garrett, II and Effie "Buffy" Loraine Garrett-McGowan (John McGowan). She is also survived by three grandchildren.
