She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward Ellis, Jr. and Gladys Ruth Goode (Richardson); her siblings, Charles Hugh Ellis, Myra Diane Purvis, Martha Lynn Lloyd and Dwayne Robert "Buddy" Ellis; and her former husband Bernard Jacob Machost, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Christina Marie Machost (Dennis A. Harkins, Jr.), Janet Nicole Arnold (James Ronald), Rebecca Jean Whitehead (Kevin Guy) and Bernard Jacob Machost III; her grandchildren, Tyler Blake Arnold, Max Avery Arnold, Emily Ruth Arnold, Melanie Rose Whitehead and Myles Edward Whitehead; and her siblings, Elaine Bates, Nona Frost, Penny McElvoy and Charles "Rusty" Ellis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
