He was predeceased by: his parents, Cliff Thomas and Nancy Thomas (Martha Ann Thomas); his grandson Billy "Bear" Williams II; and his siblings, Clarence Thomas, Dean Thomas, Louise Poole and Lucille Lockley.
He is survived by: his children, Beverely Ann Williams (Billy), Curtis "Gene" Thomas (Theresa), Jimmy Thomas (Tracy) and Billy Thomas (Pam). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morrison Heights Baptist Church, 3000 Hampstead Blvd, Clinton, MS 39056.
