He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie M. Cook Tyler and Howards Cook Sr.; and his siblings, Rosemary McDonald, Johnnie R. Munford and Calvin Cook.
He is survived by: his daughter Kantisha Graves of Clinton, MS; his siblings, Herbert L. Stovall (Della) of Jackson, MS, Ondra Stovall of Milwaukee, WI, Shelia Stovall of Jackson, MS, Devrion Cook Jiles (Bernard) of Milwaukee, WI and Charlie Stovall of Memphis, TN; his cousin Eddie Mason (Lavern) of Milwaukee, WI.; and his aunts, Minnie Dixon of Jackson, MS and Bertha L. England of Hazelhurst, MS.
