He was predeceased by: his parent Lonnie Farris Smith; and his sisters, Elsie Davis, Minnie Collier and Evelyn Crowe. He is survived by: his wife Gaye Alford Smith; his children, Michael Farris Smith (Sabrea), Mandy Smith Winscott (John) and Macy Smith Cross (Shane); his grandchildren, Bailey, Brady, Presley, Avery, Parker, Blair, Carter, Brooklyn, Daniel, Elise and Brayden; and his sister Angie Giddens of Griffin, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
