She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse William "Bill" Roberson and Penina Wilson Roberson; her husband Oscar Frank Mitchell; and her siblings, Sarah Lottie Roberson Ames and James L. Roberson.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Sarah Ames Pearson (Don), Jane Roberson Horton (David), Betty Roberson English (Randy), Janet Mitchell Colson, James William "Bill" Roberson and Shelby Mitchell.
Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held at 11 a. m. on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the pavilion at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.
