She was predeceased by: her husband John Walter Lifer; her siblings, Charles Samuel King, Clyde Wayne King and Gloria King Downs; and her former husband Malcolm Whitney.
She is survived by: her sons, John W. Lifer, Jr. (Judy) and James D. Lifer (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Darby Lifer, Clayton Lifer, Melissa Lifer and Alise Lifer. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
