It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ed Carpenter of Clinton, Mississippi, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Dickens Carpenter; his grandmother Fannie Dickens; and his aunts, Gerry Dickens, Ruth Bourland and Mary Lois Glover.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Carpenter; his daughter Kathy Torres; and his grandsons, Glenn Torres (Kristy), Graham Torres (Darrah) and Griffin Torres. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
