She was predeceased by: her parents, Mable Odeneal and John Odeneal. She is survived by: her husband Tom Simpson; her children, Amanda (AJ Rooney) and Trey; and her siblings, Bobby Odeneal (Alyce) and Judy Fortenberry. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, it was her wish that donations be made to the Baptist Health Foundation.
