It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Eldon Shelton of Clinton, Mississippi, born in Frankfort, Kentucky, who passed away on June 3, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hughron and Ottie Shelton; his brothers, James Albert and Otas Ray; his siblings-in-law, Sue and Janeida; his niece Debbie Miracle; and his nephews, John Embry and John Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Swan Akin of Clinton, MS; his sister Helena Winkler (Kenneth) of Lexington, KY; his stepchildren, David Akin of Brandon, MS and Jennifer Akin Brumfield (Timothy) of Ashland, KY; and his granddaughter Madelyn Brooke Brumfield (Maddie) of Ashland, KY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dale Eldon Shelton, age 74, died on June 3, 2021, after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease.
