We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2020, at the age of 85, Claudia Guthrie Saxton (Clinton, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Guthrie and Ouida Eldridge Guthrie; and her sister Claudine Guthrie Davis. She is survived by: her daughter Rita; her grandchildren, Beverly Koenig (Travis) of Benton, MS and Brenda Phillips (Mark) of Clinton, MS; her son Richard Saxton (Kim) of Byram, MS.; her grandchildren, Amanda Saxton, Donna Harris (Tyler), Larissa Westbrook (JR), Sara Jenkins Furguson, Craig Phillips (Katie Gay), Derek Phillips (Meredith) and Ryan Saxton (Marla); her great grandchildren, Cameron Saxton, Katie Woods, Parker Harris, Briley Phillips, Lily Belle Phillips and Grant Phillips; and her siblings, Jessie Guthrie Jr. (Juanita) of Benton, MS and Carlee Berry of Clinton, MS.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many other extended family members and friends.
