He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ward and Ada Mae McMichael Ward; his wife Patricia Ann Ward of Delta City, MS.; his daughter Elizabeth Ann Holmes; and his siblings, Nita Hendon, Doris Rushing, Glenda Bullock, Doug and John Ward.
He is survived by: his son Michael Ward (Angie) of Brandon, MS; and his grandchildren, Madison and Mason Ward.
