He was predeceased by: his husband James Lonnie Allen; and his sisters, Mary Ray Davis and Johnnie Cook. He is survived by: his son James B. Allen (Susan); his grandchildren, Chris Allen and Jennifer Reese (Braxton); his stepgrandsons, Ben Willig (Lindsay) and Josh Willig; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Allen, Leighton Reese, Campbell Reese and Harvey Willig. He is also survived by her friends and family-especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The National WWII Museum or the charity of one's choice.
