With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony Malcolm Courtney of Clinton, Mississippi, born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Courtney and Leona Harrington Courtney; and his sister Paula Fox. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Courtney of Pearl; his children, Matthew (Erin Hope) of Clinton, Katie Gordon (Andrew) of Flowood and Emily (Amy) of Pearl; his grandsons, Reed Courtney, Reece and Rhett Gordon; and his siblings, Greg (Terri) of Cat Spring and Robbin Jones (Vann) of Starkville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank everyone who has reached out with kind words, thoughts, and prayers, and suggests in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Mississippi Wildlife.
